Call for a schedule. This ferry takes you on a 25-minute scenic trip across the Cape Fear River, connecting Fort Fisher with the fishing village of Southport. The Fort Fisher Aquarium is located not far from the arrival area, along with the historic Fort Fisher Visitors Center. The ferry transports cars, trucks, pedestrians and cyclists for a nominal fee.
