BHA Merger Information and Updates

This page is dedicated to bringing you information concerning the discussion of merger between Bald Head Association and Stage II Association.

At the 2017 Annual Meeting held Saturday, January 28th, BHA members overwhelmingly voted to extend the deadline to vote to approve the merger with the Stage Two Association.

As of 1-28-2017, 98% of the 869 member properties had voted 'yes' to approve the merger. But, that number was shy of the 1099 threshold required by BHA's governing documents to merge.
Members voted to adjourn the meeting until March 29, 2017, in hopes that the required number of proxies could be obtained by that date. The BHA Board will send a registered letter to members who have not yet voted and several members volunteered to make follow-up calls.
